Key Responsibilities
- Implement the company’s EHS policies and comply with relevant national laws and regulations; organize and promote EHS awareness and enforcement;
- Develop and/or assist in establishing and improving safety production management systems, and supervise their implementation;
- Organize EHS training and technical education programs, ensuring onboarding and contractor safety training and certification;
- Organize or participate in the development and execution of emergency response plans and drills, and propose improvement measures based on drill outcomes;
- Manage construction safety, including qualification review of contractors and personnel, evaluation of safety measures and special construction plans, safety training, and technical briefings;
- Conduct on-site EHS supervision and risk assessments, organize special inspections, propose corrective measures, and drive closure of corrective actions; suspend operations in the event of major safety risks and report promptly;
- Coordinate with government regulatory authorities during inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed;
- Participate in emergency response, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and improvement implementation;
- Maintain documentation and reporting within the scope of responsibility in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering or related disciplines;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an EHS/Safety Engineer; lithium battery industry experience preferred;
- Solid knowledge of safety production technology and EHS management systems;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, fire monitoring systems, and water systems management;
- Familiar with emergency management systems and procedures;
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills;
- Certified Safety Engineer or First-Class Registered Fire Protection Engineer is preferred;
- Strong learning ability and execution capability;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong psychological and physical resilience to handle emergencies;
- Sense of responsibility, proactive working attitude, and strong team spirit.
